Help Me Protect Children

In case you haven't read the about webmaster page, the very first part said:
Hello, my name is Mike. I decided to put up this site because I want to help do something about abuse, by helping victims, abusers, and others who want to help. I have a lot of ideas of things to do to help others, but pretty much all of them require money, which I don't have much of. A website is one of the few things I can afford to do. I just need to find time to do it.

Ever since I was a teenager, my life goal has always been helping young people. Pretty much any idea I have to help others requires time, money, or both, and I seldom have spare of either. Over the years I have done a few small things to make a difference, but I'm very disappointed in what I've done so far. My life goal isn't working out and I'm not young (late 40's) anymore, so I decided to use my web knowledge and a little time to make more of a difference.

In spring 2010 I put this site together. It took a bit of time to get enough up to call it a site, and I still have much more to go, but in the meantime it has made some difference. In the fall of 2010 I realised that to do what I would really like to do, I was going to need more time and money. Want I want to do is create an organization to really make a difference in the world. I can only do so much though, so to be able to acheive my life goal of helping others, I need your help.

I made a New Year's resolution to do more in making a difference by asking for help, your help. I launched a new site January 1, 2011 called "Protecting The Children". You can help me make a difference by helping make a difference yourself, or by supporting what I do financially or in other ways.
